What is fast charging?
Fast charging allows you to charge your tablet faster by using a higher voltage or current. This means that compared to a regular charger, your device's battery gets more power during a single charge, allowing it to charge faster. This effect is enhanced when the battery is empty or nearly full. Fast charging is perfect! Your iPad can now be fully charged within 2 to 3 hours while it can take between 5 to 9 hours with a normal charger.
Do you have one of the following iPad models? Then your iPad supports fast charging.
- iPad Pro 12.9 inch (2015 or newer)
- iPad Pro 10.5 inch (2017)
- iPad Pro 11 inch (2018 and 2020)
- iPad Mini (2019)
- iPad Air (2019)
