What types of LED lighting are there?
Nanoleaf has 2 different types of LED lighting: The Nanoleaf Aurora light panels and the Nanoleaf Shapes. At first glance, these 2 types of lighting seem to differ little from each other. Both types can be used as light sources and for creating customizable designs.
The Nanoleaf Aurora light panels are known for their triangular shape and can be connected together through various adjustments to create different designs. Installation and setup can be easily done using the included linkers.
The Nanoleaf Shapes come in different shapes. The shapes can be connected to each other using the linkers. Due to the light weight of the panels, they can be easily attached to the wall with the included double-sided tape.
The main difference between the Nanoleaf Light panels and Shapes is that the Shapes can be connected to different shapes within the same setup. The Light panels can only be connected to the same model of the same series, and therefore not to the Shapes panels.
In addition, there is a huge set of customizations available for the Shapes in Nanoleaf's app. This app helps in choosing the pattern, design, color, shades and sound sensor of the panels. Shapes also feature the latest touch experience technology.
What shapes are available?
The Nanoleaf Shapes are available in different shapes. The shapes are: the Lines, Triangle, Mini Triangle, Hexagon, Canvas and Elements. All the shapes of the Shapes line can be interconnected to create a unique design mix.
Which figures can I make?
With the Nanoleaf panels, a huge number of creations can be made. Because of the different shapes, no design is too crazy. There are so many design options that it can be difficult to make a choice. That is why we would like to help you out.

The Flex linkers provide the most flexible way to connect panels together. The Flex linkers can bend up to 180 degrees. This linking kit allows you to create the ultimate design without having to think of obstacles such as corners.
