Measuring the correct size: Measuring your own door

A. Inside measurement (indoor):

1. Find the hole where the retaining screw of the current cylinder is located. This hole is usually at the edge of the door, near the locking mechanism.
2. Take a measuring tape and place it against the inside of the door, directly opposite the hole.
3. Measure the distance from the inside of the door to the center of the hole. This is your inside measurement.
4. Compare the measured inside size with the available options for Bold Smart Cylinders. Choose a cylinder with an inside size that suits your door, with a small margin for installation convenience.
5. You can easily recognize the outside by the large and thick door knob with a green edge.

B. Outside measurement (outdoor):

1. Find the same hole on the outside of the door where the retaining screw is located.
2. Again, take a measuring tape and place it against the outside of the door, directly opposite the hole.
3. Measure the distance from the outside of the door to the center of the hole. This is your outside measurement.
4. Note that the standard outside sizes for Bold Smart Cylinders are 30 mm or 50 mm.
5. If you have a different outside size, you can adjust it with the included adapters. This provides flexibility during installation.
6. The inside can be easily recognized by the small and thin door knob.
